The LiguriaHomes Casamare Golf Cup returns for its 5th edition, confirming its position as a key event for golf enthusiasts and international clients who appreciate the lifestyle of the Italian Riviera.
Following the success of previous years, the 2026 edition introduces an important addition: with the opening of our new office in Alassio, the event expands to include a second venue, creating a wider and more dynamic programme across two of Liguria’s most prestigious golf destinations.
A Two Location Programme
This year, the LiguriaHomes Casamare Golf Cup will take place across San Remo and Garlenda, offering players different formats and settings.
San Remo, 13 and 14 June 2026
Hosted once again at the renowned Circolo Golf degli Ulivi, this two day competition will follow the traditional format:
- Day 1, Stableford format for two player teams
- Day 2, Louisiana format, combining teamwork and strategy
Garlenda, Saturday 4 July 2026
Set near Alassio, the Garlenda Golf Club will host a one day individual competition:
- Individual Stableford format
- Open to 3 categories
Members of either participating Golf Club will benefit from reciprocal reduced entry fees at the other club.
This new addition reflects our continued growth in West Liguria and offers participants an additional opportunity to compete and connect in a different setting.
Tournament Format
San Remo Event
Day 1 with the Stableford format, rewarding consistent performance across each hole and allowing players to build their score strategically.
Day 2 moves to the Louisiana format, where teams of two alternate shots, creating a more dynamic and engaging competition that blends skill with collaboration.
For those who do not have a playing partner, the Sanremo Golf Club will assist in pairing players, ensuring everyone can participate.
Garlenda Event
The Garlenda competition will follow an individual Stableford format and is open to three categories, ensuring a balanced and competitive field across different handicap levels.
Tournament Awards
San Remo Tournament Prizes:
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Net Pair
- 1st Gross Pair
- 1st Master Pair and 1st Mixed Pair
- Best Net Pair of Saturday and Best Net Pair of Sunday
Garlenda Tournament Prizes:
- 1st and 2nd Net per Category
- 1st Gross Overall
- 1st Senior and 1st Lady
Special Award:
- Overall Winner of the Combined San Remo and Garlenda Events
For the purpose of the combined ranking, considering that the San Remo event is played in pairs and Garlenda is an individual competition, the pair’s score over the two days in San Remo will be taken into account and combined with the individual result from Garlenda.
Prize Draw & Exclusive Gifts
Beyond the official rankings, all participants will be included in a prize draw with a selection of exclusive gifts. Each player will also receive dedicated tournament items, designed as a reminder of the event and its unique atmosphere.
